C.G. Conn 2D Wonder Silver Single F French Horn from 1916 (Free Postage Lower 48 States)
Up For Your Consideration Is A C.G. Conn 2D Wonder Government Model silver piston single F French Horn. The serial number dates this horn to be made in 1916. I am not 100% certain about the date the horn was made and appreciate anyone who could send me their thoughts on the serial number saying the horn was made in 1916? The horn is in very good condition with 80% - 90% of its silver finish remaining. This horn had the lacquer removed on a majority of the horn. The lacquer was not removed from the slides, or in parts of the bell engraving. The horn looks lovely. I do not see any signs of any major dent work done to the horn. The horn still has the original crook and the original case which has seen better days. The bell is nice and solid and the the lead pipe looks lovely. There is a small patch on the rim of the bell that was done very nicely. The lead pipe looks great! There are some minor dings, dents, scratches, and other signs of character! Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. The horn recently came out of the shop; all of the braces are secure, the piston valves function properly, and all of the slides pull freely. The horn has a great sound and is very fun to play. This is a definite collectors items and also a nice fun playing instrument to have in the collection. The horn is priced to sell at $950.00 with Free Postage in the lower 48 States. I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely. I offer a 10 day no fuss return policy that is outlined below.
