Conn 16E Stan Kenton Marching Mellophonium French Horn (Free Postage Lower 48 States)

Up For Your Consideration Is A Conn Marching Mellophonium that was made famous by Stan Kenton!  The Mellophonium was an instrument developed by Conn in the late 1950s for use in marching bands. Pitched in F alto (like a modern mellophone) The 16E has a unique, almost iconic form, and was manufactured by Conn for over twenty years.   This particular horn for sale is in good condition and plays very nicely.  There is some surface wear, minor dings, dents, scratches, and other signs of character.  Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition.  This instrument recently came out of the shop and was given and inspection.  All of the braces are secure, the valve caps move freely, and the valves are fast, quiet, and responsive with good compression.  This is a fun little horn that would make a great addition to any collection.  The horn comes with a nice case and also includes the original crook.   Priced to sell at $550 with Free Postage in the Lower 48 States.   I offer a 10 day no fuss return policy that is outlined below. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
