Up For Your Consideration Is A Conn 6D Abilene Texas Double French Horn . The horn recently came out of the shop and was given an inspection. All of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely, the valve caps turn freely, and the valves function properly. All of the valves have a compression reading of 2.0 and lower. This horn has been test played and is a very good player. The lacquer on the horn has been removed and the horn was given a light brushed finish. There are a couple of dings, surface wear, and other imperfections. The most noticeable damage is on the lead pipe and inside tubing. Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. This would be a great first horn for any family looking for a budget friendly horn that the band director or horn teacher will approve of. Do not let the dings and dents fool you, this horn plays very good and has a lovely sound. Serial number posted for your review. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal.
