Conn 6D Eastlake Modified Custom Double French Horn (Free Postage Lower 48 States)

Up For Your Consideration Is A Conn 6D Double French Horn "LIKE NO OTHER ON THE PLANET"  Do not get me wrong, the 6D is a great playing horn, but a modified 6D is much better. This Horn was originally a 6D that was made in Eastlake Ohio with near perfect compression.  I did a valve compression reading on the valves and they had valve compression readings between 0.4 - 0.8.  We had a custom bell tail and bell Flare made by Miles O'Malley.  We had the bell and tail made to the dimensions of a Conn 8D for a larger sound!  The entire inside tubing was re-configured to make the horn a much more free blowing horn.  The modification to the inner tubing also facilitates a smoother transition between the F to Bb side.  THIS HORN IS A PLAYER!  The horn had the lacquer removed and was given a light brushed finish. There are a couple of dings, surface wear, and other minor imperfections. Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. Serial number posted for your review. I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely. I offer a 10 day no fuss return policy that is outlined below. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
