Up For Your Consideration Is a Conn 6D Double French Horn "LIKE NO OTHER ON THE PLANET"   I have been getting Conn 6D's modified by Fred Williams for many years and each one has gotten better and better over the years.  This horn started out as an Eastlake Conn 6D with excellent compression.  The horn was given a brand-new Miles O'Malley Tail, a brand-new Miles O'Malley Flare, and a brand-new Miles O'Malley custom lead pipe.  We used a tail that was bent for a Conn 8D to give it a larger sound!  Fred did his Lanstro inspired modifications and completely re-configured the inside tubing to make the horn much freer blowing similar to a Geyer horn.  The modification to the inner tubing also facilitates a smoother transition between the F to Bb side. This is one of the best modified horns that I have ever had for sale!  THIS HORN IS A PLAYER!  I did a valve compression reading on the valves and they had valve compression readings between 0.4 - 0.6   The horn is basically a new horn!   The horn does not have any lacquer on it.  The bell tail and inside tubing have a light brushed finish while the bell has that polished appearance.  Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition.  Serial number posted for your review. The horn comes with a fixed bell case.  I do have detachable bell cases for sale if you would like to upgrade your case.  Priced to sell at $4550 with Free Postage in the Lower 48 States.  I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
