Up For Your Consideration Is A Very Nice Conn 8D Double French Horn. This is an Elkhart Indiana era Double French Horn with a 800K serial number. This horn is a great player! The horn has a Lawson lead pipe and also comes with the original lead pipe. Feel free to switch lead pipes back and forth to see which one you prefer, this horn come with an interchangeable lead pipe set up. The horn also comes with a brand new Miles O'Malley Bell Flare. The valve cluster and Bell Tail are from an 800K series Conn 8D. The valve cluster still has the lacquer in tact, while the Bell tail and Bell Flare are free of any lacquer. This horn recently came out of the shop and all of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely, and the valves are fast and responsive with good compression. This horn is a great sounding horn and lots of fun. The horn does come with a fixed bell case. The horn does have some dings, dents, surface scratches and other signs of character!
