Up for your consideration is a Conn 8D Double French Horn. This N series was made in Elkhart Indiana. This horn still has good valve compression with compression readings ranging from 1.8 - 2.4 There is a patch, dings, dents, and other signs of character; please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. Out of all the Conn 8D's that I have for sale, my son's horn instructor said this was one of the best playing of the bunch. The lacquer was removed and the horn was given a light brushed finish. All of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides and valves caps move freely, and the valves and fast, quiet, and responsive with good compression. The valves on this horn are very smooth! The lead pipe does have a ding on it, the bell does have some imperfections, but none of these imperfections affect the playability of the horn. THIS HORN IS A PLAYER. Serial number posted for your review. The horn comes with a fixed bell case with 3 functioning latches. Priced to sell at $2050 with free postage in the lower 48 States. I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely. I offer a 10 day no fuss return policy that is outlined below. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
