Up For Your Consideration Is A Superb Custom Conn 8D. The horn started with an N Series Cluster that was re-plated by Chuck Ward. The valve compression on the is horn is perfect! There are a couple of slides that have some small dings, but nothing that affects the playability of the horn. This horn sounds amazing with its brand new Yellow Brass Bell tail made by the very talented Miles O'Malley. Miles O'Malley also made a brand new Gold Brass Bell Flare for this horn. The nickel Silver Lead Pipe was made by Lanstro and installed by Fred Williams. Fred Williams did a wonderful job assembling this tri-metal custom N Series Conn 8D Double French Horn. All of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely, and the valves are fast, quiet and responsive. Fred is amazing with his attention to detail with bracing! Everyone who has played this horn has said it sounds amazing! The horn comes with a Protec case which someone would most likely want to replace in the future.
