Up For Your Consideration Is A Conn V8D Double French Horn! This horn not only looks great, but also plays like a dream come true. The finish on the horn is very respectable and limited to some minor wear. I do not see any signs of previous dent work which is not surprising since the owner of this horn had such pride of ownership. There may be some small dings, scratches, and other signs of character. Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. This is a detachable bell model. The bell is in very good condition and screws on very nicely. The lead pipe was upgraded to a Balu Double Wall lead pipe. All I can say about the lead pipe is that Ion Balu made this horn into something very special. The lead pipe really suits this horn very well. THIS HORN IS A PLAYER! The buyer of this horn will also receive the original V8D lead pipe that was originally on this horn. The horn is also equipped with a duckfoot and a Amato water key! The valves are fast, quiet, and responsive with excellent compression. I did a valve compression reading and the valves have compression readings between 0.4 - 1.0 The horn comes with a nice screw-bell case that has a functioning zipper. The serial number is posted for your review.
   
I currently have the most used Conn 8D's on the market and encourage interested parties to schedule a visit to test play this horn if you are in the Chicagoland area! This is a wonderful horn that would make any serious player very happy. The horn is priced at $5,650 with Free postage. I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely. I offer a 10 day no fuss return policy that is outlined below. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
