Up For Your Consideration Is A Holton Collegiate Single B Flat French Horn. This would be a great first horn for a beginner student, or a player looking for a horn on the lighter side. The horn has good compression which means the valves function well and you do not need as much air when you play. I did a valve compression reading on the valves, and all of the valves were lower than 2.5 which is really good. The horn does have some dings, dents, scratches, and other signs of character. The lacquer was removed from the horn and the horn was a given a really light brushed finish. You can still see the Holton engraving on the horn very well. The horn recently came out of the shop and all of the braces are secure, all of the slides, pull freely, and the valves function very well. The horn comes with a case with 2 functioning latches. All French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
