Holton Custom 179/378 Hybrid Double French Horn VERY GOOD COMPRESSION (Free Shipping Lower 48 States)

Up For Your Consideration Is A Real Treat!  This is a very nice build that consisted of a Holton 378 Valve Cluster with Very good compression added to a Holton Farkas H179 Bell Flare and Tail!   Boy oh boy did this project work out!  THIS HORN IS A PLAYER!   The 378 valve cluster has a valve compression reading between .6 - 1.5 for all the valves.  The valves are fast, quiet, and responsive with very good compression.  The valve cluster still has the original lacquer on the horn.  The bell and tail had the lacquer removed and was given a very light brushed finish.  The horn has an Alexander ring set if you ever decide to upgrade your bell Flare!  The current Bell Flare does show signs of previous dent work.  The horn does have some dings, dents, and other signs of character.  Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition.  This horn recently came out of the shop and was given and inspection.
