Up For Your Consideration Is A Holton H179 Nickel Silver Double French Horn. This would be a very nice horn for any horn player looking to upgrade to a good playing horn! The horn had the lacquer removed on the cluster and was given a brushed finish. The bell still has the original lacquer. The bell was cut with an Alexander ring set. The bell screws on very nicely! There is an area on the bell where a dent was rolled out in which you can see signs of previous repair. Overall, the bell is very solid and looks nice. There are some minor dings, dents, surface scratches, and other signs of character. Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. The horn was recently given an inspection, and all of the tuning slides move freely, all of the valve caps turn freely, and the valves have very good compression. I did a valve compression reading on the horn and all the valves had readings between 0.8 - 1.8 This horn still has lots of life left and has a very lovely sound. The horn comes with a case that has 3 functioning latches. Serial number posted for your review. The horn is priced to sell at $2950 with Free Postage in the Lower 48 States. I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely. I offer a 10 day no fuss return policy that is outlined below. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
