Up For Your Consideration Is A Superb Holton Farkas H279 Nickel Silver Double French Horn. This horn has near perfect compression on all the valves.  Each Valve reading has a compression reading of 0.2 ! This horn plays like a dream and looks lovely. There are some surface scratches, and a couple of small dings. There was a dent on the throat of the horn that was removed evidenced by a very small scar.  Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. The horn recently came out of the shop and was given an inspection: All of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slide pull freely, all of the valve caps turn freely, and the valves are fast, quiet, and responsive with near perfect compression. The lead pipe is nice and straight, The bell screws on like butter, and I cannot stress enough that "THIS HORN IS A PLAYER". This would be a perfect horn for any serious player that is looking for a Detachable Bell Horn. The horn comes with the original Holton Case which is in very good condition.. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees.
