The finish on the horn is very respectable and limited to some minor dings, dents, surface scratches, and other signs of character. Please check out the pictures for clarification of condition. The previous owner said the French Horn was in his family his entire life and that they bought it brand new. This horn recently came out of the shop and was given an inspection; all of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely, and the valves are fast and responsive with good compression. The bell looks good and is very straight. The lead pipe is in good condition. The horn has a very nice sound! King Eroica's are some really great horns! This is one of the really good ones.
