King Fidelio RARE Nickel Plated Double French Horn (Free Shipping Lower 48 States)

Up For Your Consideration Is Perhaps the nicest and most rare King Fidelio Double French Horn in the World!  King Fidelio's are traditionally made of brass; I believe this particular horn is Nickel Plated.  I was told by Chuck Ward that King would either Nickel Plate or Silver Plate horns on special order.  He said they did not make Fidelio's in Nickel Silver.  The previous owner played the horn in the US Navy Band, and also played the horn in the Charleston Symphony.   The horn is in near mint condition with the original finish.  The King Fidelio engraving looks like it was just engraved.  There are some very minor surface scratches on the horn, and the finish look marvelous.  This horn was recently given an ultrasonic cleaning in May of 2024 at O'Malley Brass in Chicago Illinois.  All of the tuning slides move freely, all of the braces are secure, and the valves are fast, quiet, and responsive, with excellent compression.  I was told this horn is a great player.  I plan on posting some videos of the horn being played in the near future.  It does come with the original King case which is also in great condition.  This horn would be great for any collector that would like to get their hands on a super rare Double French Horn that no one else in the entire world has.  I am blown away by the condition of the horn.   This is definitely a bored horn and I can only hope it finds a good home.   Please check out the picture for further clarification of condition.   The serial number is posted for your review but does not make much sense at all.  All sales come with a 10 day no fuss return policy and free shipping in the Lower 48 States.  If you are ever in the Chicagoland area, please feel free to come out and test play this horn and many other great Double French Horns.
