Up For Your Consideration Is A King Schmidt Double French Horn. This horn recently came out of the shop and had a custom Miles O'Malley lead pipe installed. The horn was also given an ultrasonic cleaning. The horn was inspected an all of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely, all of the valve caps turn freely, and the valves are fast, quiet and responsive. The valves were swedged and have very little up and down play. The valve compression on the valves are between 3.5 - 4.0! This horn has a great foundation if someone would like to eventually get the valves replated in the future. In the meantime, this horn plays great and slurs like no other. The bell looks great and the brass does not have any thin spots. There are some dings, dents, surface scratches, lacquer wear, and other signs of character. Comes with extra slide! The slide does have a small ding in it. This horn comes with the original case that has seen better days. The latches are a little loose but still do their job.
