Meister Carl Monnig East Germany Double French Horn (Free Shipping Lower 48 States)

Up For Your Consideration Is A Meister Carl Monnig Double French Horn.  I was told this horn was made in East Germany in the 1960's.  The horn is in good condition.  The horn does not have any lacquer on it.   There are some dings, dents, surface scratches, and other signs of character.  I do not see any signs of any previous dent work.  The bell is solid and the lead pipe looks good.  I tried to capture all of the horns minor imperfections in the pictures.  Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition.  The horn recently had an inspection; all of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides and valve caps move freely, and the valves are fast and responsive with good compression.   I did a valve compression test on the horn; all of the valves had compression readings between 1.5 - 2.5.  This horn has a lovely sound and would be a great horn for any beginner student looking for a good playing horn.  The new owner of this horn will likely need to find a good mouthpiece compatible with this horn.  The serial number is posted for your review.  The horn comes with a case with functioning latches.  Priced to sell at $2950.00 with free postage in the lower 48 states.  I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely.  I offer a 10 day no fuss return policy that is outlined below. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
