was introduced to the Paxman range in 1999. It was the result of a desire to build a more open, free-blowing instrument in the style of a Geyer or Knopf horn, but retaining the distinctive characteristics of a Paxman.  Unlike the true Geyer wrap, it incorporates the Merewether system, which allows the air to flow in the same direction through the valve block on both the F and Bb horns. This minimizes disruption of the airflow, allowing smooth slurring and beautiful legato playing. It also features independent F and Bb tuning slides and a waterkey on the mouthpipe.

This horn is priced competitively at $9,950.00 and does come with a brand new Protec Case.  Please keep in mind that postage is free.  I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely.  I offer a 10 day no fuss return policy that is outlined below. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
