Up For Your Consideration Is A Respectable Reynolds Contempora Double French Horn. This would be a great option for someone looking for a decent playing double horn at a bargain price. Any beginner player would be fine with this horn. You can go through a full range of notes on this horn and your child will be able to learn how to play the French Horn just fine on this horn. The horn recently had the lacquer removed and was given a brushed finish. The horn looks good but does have some dings, dents, and other signs of character. The bell is very solid and straight. The lead pipe does have some dings on it, but the horn still plays. The inside tubing looks good with very limited amounts of dings and dents. condition. The horn was inspected and all of the braces are secure, the tuning slides pull freely, and the valves are fast and responsive. The horn plays better with a fresh application of a thicker oil. This is a great horn to teach your child or student basic horn maintenance. This is a good looking horn and also a good player! All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal.
