Up For Your Consideration Is A Vincent Dell'Osa Double French Horn.  This is a delightful horn that is fun to play!  I have gotten some very good reception about this horn from players that have stopped by to test play horns.  Players really like the valves!  The valves are fun to play, and are very quiet.  The horn has decent compression, and a very nice tone.  This is a heavy horn, that I was told is a stencil horn that was imported to Philadelphia, PA from Germany under the name Vincent Dell'Osa.   Some historians have suggested this horn was made in the Hans Hoyer factory, but I cannot confirm which factory the horn was made in.  The lead pipe brace is stamped made in Germany.  I really liked this horn when I first got it and wanted to make it look nice again.  We decided to get some dents taken out, strip the lacquer, cut the bell, and give the horn a light brushed finish.  Cutting the bell did take away from the original Vincent Dell'Osa engraving, but I think the final results of the horn were worth the efforts.  The horn looks lovely and plays nicely!   The horn was given an inspection; and all of the braces are secure, all of the valve caps & tuning slides move freely, and the valves function very nicely.   This horn captures a great time in history, and also plays nicely.   The horn does come with a fixed bell case that is in fair condition.  The serial number is posted for your review.  Priced to sell at $1,950.00 with Free Postage in the Lower 48 States.   I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely.  I offer a 10 day no fuss return policy that is outlined below. Please read the refund policy before making a purchase.
