Up for Your Consideration is a Modified Yamaha YHR 561 Double French Horn.  First, foremost; THIS HORN HAS EXCELLENT VALVE COMPRESSION!  I recently did a valve compression reading on all the valves, and the valves had compression readings between 0.4 - 0.8   The valves are fast, quiet, and responsive with excellent compression.  The bell was recently cut with an Alexander ring set.  The bell screws on very nicely!  The bell Flare is solid! The lacquer was removed and the horn was given a very light brushed finish.  Modifications were made to the inside tubing for optimal playability. THIS HORN IS A PLAYER!   The lead pipe is in good condition with an Amato key recently installed!   The bell tail is in good condition.  The inside tubing looks great!   The horn recently came out of the shop and was given an inspection; all of the braces are secure; all of the tuning slides pull freely along with the valve caps.  The horn was given an ultrasonic cleaning in August of 2026.  The horn comes with a Yamaha fixed bell case with 3 functioning latches.   Serial number posted for your review. Priced to sell at $2,550.00 with Free Postage in the Lower 48 States. I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely. I offer a 10 day no fuss return policy that is outlined below. Please read the return policy before making a purchase.   

All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
