Yamaha 667 Yellow Brass Double French Horn "As Is" (Free Shipping Lower 48 States)

Up For Your consideration is a Yamaha 667.  This horn needs a valve rebuild.  The horn has a compression rating between 6.5 - 7.5 on all the valves.  The horn does play but would benefit from a valve rebuild.  The horn recently came out of the shop.  The horn had the lacquer removed and was given a very light brushed finish.  The bell was cut with an Alexander ring set.  This horn had extensive dent work done to it.  The lead pipe looks good and the bell Flare looks nice.  The horn was given an inspection and all the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely, and the valves function properly but do have very poor compression.  A new valve job will cost around 1500 dollars.  This would be an excellent horn after a valve rebuild.  If you are looking for a nicer 667,  I have several other 667's with very good valve compression.  The horn does come with a case.  The horn is being sold "as is" and I will not be offering my normal 10 no fuss return policy with this particular horn after full disclosure that this horn will need to have the valves rebuilt.  I do offer free shipping.
