Yamaha 668VN Nickel Silver Double French Horn FANTASTIC COMPRESSION (Free Postage Lower 48 States)
Up For Your Consideration Is A Very Nice Yamaha 668VN Double French Horn. I recently picked up this horn on consignment from a current horn player of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra. This horn is in super good condition and has excellent valve compression. I recently did a valve compression reading on all the valves, and the valves had compression reading between 0.4 - 0.8!!! There is a small ding or two on the horn and the horn does have some surface wear. There is some excess solder around the pinky hook that could be cleaned up fairly easily if this is something that is bothersome to the new owner. This horn has the original finish and it looks good! The bell Flare is solid, the bell tail looks great, the inside tubing is in good condition, and the original lead pipe looks great! Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. The horn recently came out of the shop and was given an inspection; all of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely, and the valves are fast, quiet, and responsive with great compression! Not only does the horn look great but also plays great as well. THIS HORN IS A PLAYER! This would be a great horn for any French Horn Player looking to take their horn playing to a higher level. The Yamaha 668VN is a great French Horn, and this particular one is in good condition and sounds amazing! The horn comes with a very nice fixed bell case. The Serial number is posted for your review.
