Yamaha 866/ 668 Custom Double French Horn "GREAT COMPRESSION" (Free Shipping Lower 48 States)

Up For Your Consideration Is A Real Treat!  This horn started from an Yamaha 866 Horn that had a completely flattened Bell Flare and Bell Tail.   The Valve Cluster was in very good condition and the valves had near perfect compression.   The valves have a compression reading of 0.6 or lower on all of the valves.   The Bell Tail and Bell Flare were replaced with a brand new old stock Yamaha 668 Bell Tail and Bell Flare.   This horn does have the Yamaha ring set.  The Bell Tail and valve cluster had the lacquer removed and were given a very light brushed finish.  The inside tubing looks good with the exceptions of some small dings and dents.  The Bell Flare still has the original lacquer on it.  The horn was inspected and all of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely and the valves are fast, quiet and responsive with excellent valve compression.  The lead pipe is the original 866 Custom Lead Pipe!   I believe the case is the original 866 case!   This horn is an unbelievable player and looks lovely!  Serial number posted for your review.   Priced to sell at $3950 with Free Shipping in the Lower 48 States.  All Sales come with a 10 day no fuss return policy.
