Up for Your Consideration is a Modified Yamaha YHR 561/88ND Double French Horn. First, foremost, and most importantly, THIS HORN HAS LIKE NEW VALVES! The valve compression reading on all the valves are between 0.4 - 0.8 The horn has a brand new old stock Yamaha 88ND Bell tail and Flare with the original Yamaha Ring. This horn is also equipped with a brand new custom lead pipe. Modifications were made to the inside tubing for optimal playability. THIS HORN IS DEFINITELY A PLAYER! The inside tubing looks great! All of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely along with the valves caps; and the valves are fast, quiet, and responsive with great compression. The valve cluster had the lacquer removed and was given a very light brushed finish. The bell tail was also given a light brushed finish. The bell flare still has the original factory finish. The horn comes with a fixed bell case with 3 functioning latches. The horn was given an ultrasonic cleaning in June of 2025! Serial number posted for your review. Priced to sell at $2,950.00 with Free Postage in the Lower 48 States. I do offer free postage, but charge $25 dollars for the box, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts necessary to ship the horn safely. All Double French Horn purchases come with a 10 day No-Fuss Return Policy. Buyer may return the horn within 10 days of receiving the horn with no questions asked. The horn must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of receiving the horn to initiate the return process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. I do not charge a re-stocking fee for returns if you pay by check or cash. I also offer a 5% cash discount if you buy the horn in person. I do charge a 3.5% re-stocking fee if you pay with a credit card or PayPal. Credit card companies and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees. Buyer would be responsible for a 3.5% restocking fee in the case of a return if the payment is made with a Credit Card or PayPal. Payment will be refunded within 1 day of receiving the horn; provided the horn is returned in its original condition.
